The Ministry of Health is ready to increase salaries by up to 10 percent for middle-level medical staff with a coefficient of 6.95, that is, those with lower and basic incomes, Vojislav Šimun's department told TV Vijesti.
This increase will occur if the healthcare unions accept the proposal for a temporary salary increase through a stimulus, until the signing of the new Branch Collective Agreement.
The independent healthcare union accepted yesterday the Government's proposal to increase salaries for middle-level medical staff, while the Clinical Center Union will make a statement about it tonight.
And while the Ministry of Health is talking about a 10 percent increase, union representatives claim that they were offered a 15 percent salary increase during the negotiations.
