In the last year, employees in Podgorica were sick for a total of about one million and 400 thousand days, the Ministry of Health informed Television Vijesti.
More than 30 sick leaves were issued in the capital, almost half of which were prescribed by elected officials, and 40 percent by specialist doctors. However, it is still not known which of them writes the most.
The Ministry says that their Commission is already checking sick leave, and so far they have determined that 10 percent are suspicious.
