The Special Prosecutor's Office formed (SDT) a case regarding the allocation of apartments to employees of the Podgorica Water Supply during 2019.
State prosecutor and SDT spokesman Vukas Radonjić told Vijesti Television that in January, in connection with the allocation of apartments in Vodovod five years ago, the current director of the Podgorica company, Aleksandar Nišavić, submitted a criminal complaint to the Special Prosecutor's Office, and that a criminal case was opened based on it.
Radonjić added that an investigation is underway in which, through the Special Police Department, information, evidence and data necessary for making a decision are being collected.
Television Vijesti pointed out that the allocation of apartments in Vodovod is disputed at the beginning of December last year, in the documentary-investigative film "U mutnim voda", by Tatjana Ašanin and Nikola Milosavić Aleksić, who presented evidence of other possible abuses in the company from Podgorica while the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) was in power in the capital.
