Despite some analyzes that the number of foreigners in Montenegro has been declining in recent months and that this will have a negative impact on the budget, data from the Ministry of Interior show that this number is growing.
Television Vijesti was told that over 96.000 foreigners currently reside in our country, which is almost 13.000 more than a year ago.
The majority are Russians, Serbs and Turks, and in Budva, which according to last year's census, has a little over 26.500 inhabitants, there are currently more than 21.000 foreign citizens.
However, data from real estate agencies show that they have been buying or renting less real estate lately, and analysts estimate that the actual situation will be reflected in budget revenues at the end of the first quarter.
