Srđan Radić, head of the Maritime Property Control Service, said that yesterday three illegal houses were demolished on Ada Bojana in Ulcinj.
"There were problems, considering that it was about the demolition of buildings that should have been done even before this date. One of the illegal users did not want to leave the building that was supposed to be demolished. In another situation, one of those three houses was taken by an illegal user removed it himself, because it was left to him as a possibility before our intervention," Radić said in Boja jutra on TV Vijesti.
He also pointed out that in the previous period they had similar actions, but that they focused on the beginning of building the building.
"Many of these have been stopped... Ada Bojana's problem is the specificity of the type of object, which can be assembled in one afternoon. And when we stop, it happens that we see afterwards, not that the house is finished, but that it has been built on one floor," he added. Working.
He stated that there are currently around 650 houses on Ada Bojana, of which around 100 are illegal.
"Unfortunately, from day to day we witness that houses are 'sprung up'. Every day we have probably ten to 15 reports from Ulcinj. We process all of them, we write urgent cases and we hope that in the strongest possible coordination with the Municipal Police and the service of this company, which deals with the protection of the territory of Montenegro, succeed in bringing order on the ground," added Radić.
He said that through the new Temporary Buildings Program, it will be seen which houses "will be recognized and marked, which meet the legal requirements", and that then they will have accurate information on how many legal and how many illegal buildings there are on Ada Bojana.
He stated that the income of the state from the houses in that location is 1,1 million euros.
Radić also said that a very small number of 650 houses have a septic tank.
About renting beaches
Radić said that the law needs to be changed and the price of sunbeds on the coast should be limited, and that this is being seriously considered.
"We will do everything to initiate meetings at the highest levels, in order to avoid this kind of problem in the future," he said.
Speaking about beach tenants, he said that "correct users should be praised", but that "unfortunately, there are not many of them".
Those who were tenants until now should have an advantage in the tender, "but not in the same capacity as in the previous period, in the previous 30 years", said Radić.
