In the last election year, some political parties made a profit, and some went into the red despite generous funds from the state and municipal budgets, as well as private sources. In addition, the Democrats and the New Serbian Democracy spent more than the money the state gave them for their campaigns. This is stated in the reports they submitted to the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
The agency has not yet published reports for the parliamentary parties: Movement Europe Now (PES), Democratic People's Party (DNP), Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS), Social Democrats (SD).
The New Serbian Democracy (NSD) ended the last election year with a surplus of 237.806 euros, while the year before they were in the minus of even 144,5 thousand.
In 2023, they earned a total of 1.740.000, and spent over XNUMX million.
They received more than 1,1 million from the state, of which close to 448.000 for financing the election campaign, for which they spent more - over 476 thousand euros. From private sources, 15 thousand euros were donated by the House of Serbia. They had seven employees, and more than 425 went to their earnings.
Democrats owe more than 300.000 euros for loans, and last year they spent 295.000 euros more than they earned. Their total income was one million 736 thousand, and their expenses were over two million.
They were given more than 1,1 million from the state budget, of which over 450 for the presidential and parliamentary elections, and they spent twice as much. They also received 10.700 euros from membership fees, led by Vladimir Čađenović and Mijomir Pejović with 280 euros each, and party leader Aleksa Bečić gave 168 euros for membership fees.
In the report, they state that they received almost 41.000 from the coalition partner, without mentioning the name. They gave close to 400.000 for wages, without specifying the number of employees.
Their coalition partner in the parliamentary elections, URA, earned a total of 695.000 last year. With expenditures of over 496.000, it ended the year with a surplus of 229.000, which it reached after the minus in 2022.
They received 425.000 euros from the state budget, and except for the campaign, for which they spent, as they say, 23,5 thousand, the money was mostly spent on salaries (134.153,97 euros). They owe over 64 thousand for loans.
Demos completed the election year with 15.838 euros less. Their income was over 83.000, they spent 4.000 for the elections in Podgorica, and over 64 for earnings.
The Socialist People's Party (SNP) had more than 288.000 gains last year. Out of over 696.000, the largest part of which is from the budget, they spent 58.000 for the elections, as they state.
The Albanian alternative spent a total of 292,5 thousand, and their expenses were slightly lower (291.284). They received over 109.000 for the campaign, and they also spent more for it. They gave 110.000 peko for wages and benefits, and the average number of employees is three.
And the Croatian Civic Initiative (HG) made a profit of 2022 thousand last year after a weak 76,5. Out of over 200,5 thousand euros in income, she received more than 73.000 for the campaign, spent over 44.000 for the parliamentary elections, and two thousand less for salaries.
