State Secretary in the Ministry of Public Administration Dragiša Janjušević announced that Prime Minister Milojko Spajić will initiate a parliamentary dialogue with all political structures regarding the problem of the Municipality of Šavnik.
Janjušević said in the Reflektor show on Television Vijesti that the position of the Ministry of Public Administration is to introduce the Board of Commissioners in the Municipality of Savnik and to call for elections.
"I cannot guarantee what the political agreement will be," said Janjušević.
He explained that "Savnik Municipality entered a legal absurdity and shortened its own mandate for the second time".
"We were principled from the start - when we notice irregularities, that the citizens do not exercise their right to local self-government, we go to the Board of Commissioners. We were clear in our position that the Board of Commissioners should start in Šavnik, but that did not happen primarily because when the decision on the Board came of the Commissioner for the Municipality of Šavnik, that the President of Montenegro, Jakov Milatović, came out with one interpretation, which is not his competence, that the elections are not called two polling stations, the election process cannot be completed from October 2022. We have a dramatic situation when it comes to the right of citizens to local self-government, and we reacted and showed the attitude that we want new elections to be called..." said Janjušević.
He added that as far as the Ministry of Public Administration is concerned, the Board of Commissioners can start "as soon as tomorrow", but that the new moment is that Spajić initiated a parliamentary dialogue with all political structures regarding the problems of the Municipality of Šavnik:
"I think that the process and dialogue will be opened in the coming days and that is why we are not opening the story with the Board of Commissioners and we are giving dialogue a chance, while the citizens of Šavnik are suffering," said Janjušević.
The President of the Municipality of Savnik, Jugoslav Jakić, said that Janjušević's allegations "do not correspond to the truth".
"We see that the legal positions of the Ministry of Public Administration are being suspended on a daily basis. Our position was clear - when the Ministry of Public Administration embarked on the gradual collapse of the constitutional order in the country, the answer was clear that we will not allow it," Jakić said.

When asked about Spajić's initiative, he said that DPS had already initiated a dialogue.
"I didn't talk to the prime minister personally, a meeting was arranged, but it was canceled due to the prime minister's obligations, but I believe that it will happen soon," said Jakšić.
Gavrilo Cerović from the coalition "For the Future of Šavnik" said that for them the only acceptable option is new elections.
