Six children are also waiting for an organ transplant

In Montenegro, 95 people are waiting for an organ transplant, including six children, according to data from the Ministry of Health provided to Television Vijesti. In the meantime, kidney transplantation, which was previously performed at the Clinical Center of Montenegro, has stopped completely for four years, so the Ministry of Health is working on restarting that program. They are also working on raising citizens' awareness of the importance of donor cards, which are still signed by an insufficient number of citizens.
