Moving the concrete mixer near the houses and properties of the residents of the suburban settlements Kovačka dolina and Tmajevci will wait until next year, when the adoption of a new plan for temporary buildings and changes to spatial planning documents is expected, the president of the municipality of Žabljak, Radoš Žugić, said in "Morning Colors" on TV Vijesti.

"If you ask me if the location of the concrete mixer is where it is today, I will tell you that it is not. If you ask me if the quality of life of the people of Kovačka dolina is threatened today, I will tell you that it is. And we certainly stand on available to find the best possible solution in order to remove this separation, that is, the concrete mixer, to a specific location in the foreseeable future. This issue is resolved by adopting a new plan for temporary buildings and amending the spatial planning documentation," he said.

Žugić, in the "My City" column, also pointed out that a significant number of owners of disputed barns in the Obilaznica locality, whose demolition is planned, submit a request for legalization, wanting to turn them into residential buildings, which the municipality will not allow.

"The municipality of Žabljak will strongly and rigorously oppose such an action, which aims to usurp municipal land and turn municipal land into private property tomorrow, i.e. to create a residential building from a temporary stable building. In the future, we will not allow this at all," he added.

In Žabljak, the reconstruction of the 2,5 km long main city road with sidewalks and street lighting has begun, which, as he pointed out, will significantly change the image of the city center.

"We hope that by the beginning of the summer tourist season we will have completed the modernized main city road to the Ski Hotel, and after that we will be able to continue the work on the Ski Hotel-Hotel Enigma route," he explained.

Žugić also said that they have established cooperation with the director of the Jahorina Olympic Center, Dejan Ljevnajić.

"We recognized him as a man who can make a great contribution. He also had a couple of informal meetings with representatives of the Government of Montenegro and there are positive signals and good messages that we will finally reach a situation where the Ski Resort "Savin kuk" will be turned into a success story. He and his team will make a feasibility study, that is, a program task that would essentially show what needs to be changed," he explained.
