Citizens and Elektroprivreda paid nearly 53 million euros last year to privileged power producers, i.e. owners of private hydro and wind power plants.
Although they have the possibility to sell electricity on the market, out of a total of 26 privileged producers in Montenegro, only one currently uses it.
In Elektoprivreda, they believe that the prosecution should review all contracts with privileged producers, and in the civil sector they claim that these projects have not achieved their purpose.
