In seven columns, parties and one civic movement will appear in the upcoming local elections in Andrijevica.
The holder of the Europe Movement list says that if this party wins the most votes, it will take the leading position of the municipality. When asked if the public's perception of her as a former member of the DPS could pose a problem for her on the way to that goal, Dragana Vučević answered as follows.
"My fellow citizens know me and my family not only as someone who is involved in politics, but as a doctor and humanist, so I have no doubts about their support and I have no doubts that the citizens of Andrijevica will choose what is best for our municipality."
PES is participating in the local elections in Andrijevica for the first time, as well as the Citizens' Group "For the Future of Our Children", headed by former SNP member Ivan Radojević.
"That the various centers of power do not decide about Andrijevica and the fate of Andrijevica, but that we, with our knowledge and skills, lead it towards better development, prosperity and a better future. This is primarily the reason why I left the SNP and started with these friends of mine to form this group of citizens ", says Radojević.
The Vasojević movement "Unification" also submitted the list, and they will be led by the former vice-president of the Municipality Vesko Raketić from the New Serbian Democracy. That party is going to the local elections with the Democratic People's Party, Prava Montenegro and Slobodni Montenegro. Although this is a significant overcomposition compared to the previous local elections, when they participated with the SNP, they are not afraid of the dispersal of the electorate.
"We are ready to enter the election race, we have something to offer the citizens, and since they recognize our work in this past period, we expect an extremely good result", says Miodrag Čukić, the holder of the list "For the future of Andrijevica".
The DPS are confident - they say that without them there is no stable government in Andrijevica. Until the 2020 elections, which they lost, they led this municipality for nine years.
"We expect the citizens to punish the previous government, which was in place from 2020 to the present day, because almost apart from their intra-party quarrels, primarily around armchairs, they did almost nothing for Andrijevica or its citizens," says Dejan Ivanović from the DPS . When reminded that there is also PES and that the list holder of that party is a former councilor and member of the DPS, he replies: "That's right, the list holder is the respected doctor Vučević, she was our councilor for two terms, I don't see what they can do with the new offer the citizens of Andrijevica what they didn't already have while they were with us".
The Democrats, who will participate in the next elections with the SNP, point out that they still have a lot to offer the citizens.
"We have created a superior program for the citizens of Andrijevica compared to all other lists," says Miloš Čukić from that list.
The municipal board of the SNP did not answer the question of what they offer to the residents of Andrijevica. The leader of the list and the former mayor of the municipality, Željko Ćulafić, was not in the mood to talk either. The former first man of Andrijevica found himself in the public's focus last year because of the business of the Municipality and the market he owns "Karamel", through direct negotiations. The Democrats see nothing controversial in that business.
"Mr. Čulafić was accused of entering into a contract with his company in connection with some 3.000 euros. Let me tell you, the special prosecution gave a comment on that, that is, a judgment about it, where they made a statement about the case in question and rejected that case." , says Miloš Čukić, and to the statement that what is legal is not always moral, he adds: "I can also tell you the following situation, that the company owned by Mr. Čulafić is certainly one of the largest donors companies in our municipality".
The elections in Andrijevica are scheduled for June 2.
