The president of the Municipal Election Commission in Budva, Đorđije Vujović, said that today at 10:XNUMX a.m. he will hold a session where the preliminary results of yesterday's local elections will be concluded.
Vujović said in "Colors of the Morning" on TV Vijesti that the election day passed "just as it could be" - there were no incidents or complaints, and minor irregularities were eliminated during the day.
He said that Božidar Vujičić, who advocates the introduction of open lists, and who was below the threshold in yesterday's elections, announced his objection to the election process itself, reminding that Vujičić does this after every election.
Vujović said that the declining turnout shows citizens' lack of interest in the election process. He says that the turnout is lower by seven percent compared to the local elections in 2022, and that the turnout in the elections at that time was also lower by about ten percent compared to those in 2020.
