The Europe now movement (PES), its leader and the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Milojko Spajić, do not care about public services, local and RTCG and their professionalization, but they care about full control, said Goran Đurović, director of the non-governmental organization (NGO) Media Center .
In the Reflektor show on Television Vijesti, he talked about one thing, which he said concerns the different approach of the political party led by Spajić.
"I will draw a parallel with City Television and the process when the new government in the capital, with the intention of freeing City Television from party influence, which was evident from the DPS, started making a new decision about City Television Podgorica. Then Media the center helped in that process by sending the proponents a draft of a new decision that was fully harmonized with the current Draft Law on Audio-Visual Media Services, which provides for a procedure that does not allow political parties to decide on representatives of NGOs or any other organizations in the appointment process," Đurović pointed out in Reflektor, where guests included Neđeljko Rudović, director general of the Directorate for Media in the Ministry of Culture and Media, and Marijana Camović Veličković, vice president of the Media Union and member of the RTCG Council.

He added that PES and the former Democratic Front (DF) - i.e. the members of that former political alliance, the Democratic People's Party (DNP) and the New Serbian Democracy (NSD), accepted that decision, but later lowered the criteria in order to employ the current director of Gradska of Vladimir Otašević Television.
"However, they later abused what were our good intentions, so they changed the criteria for the director, in order to hire Otašević, they lowered the criteria. As for the election procedure, which is problematic for them today and they want to keep the DPS structure, then they accepted what the ministry proposed in the draft, and today we have a completely different procedure at the city or municipal level. This shows that the Europe Now Movement, Milojko Spajić and those who will support it tomorrow do not care about public services. local and RTCG and their professionalization, they already care about full control. This is what depresses all of us who have fought much longer than all the ministers and others in PES or parties, and it depresses especially those who had some result." , said Đurović.
He said that "RTCG, as long as the structure of those who decide on it is like this, while the management is like this, excluding Marijana Camović Veličković, the only one who fights honorably for the interest of the public, will never be the first in terms of trust".
"I remind you that in 2018, for the first time in the midst of the captured state of the DPS, RTCG was ahead of Television Vijesti by at least half a percent, it was the first in terms of trust, which clearly indicates that it is possible to achieve such results, but not with this kind of law." Đurović said.
He said that anyone's control cannot pass through citizens.
"Today, RTCG is a megaphone of political parties that creates noise, it allows everyone to say what they think, everyone has the opportunity to call the general director and agree with him on any format, any show when they need it, but essentially RTCG must not to investigate any problem, any violation of the law, at the local level. There is no one in the production plan of "Mechanism". There is no one who does it because they are afraid, and it is today's RTCG, which looks more beautiful, more modern, has more opportunities for actors to say, except for us from the Media Center and banned, banned NGOs, but that is not what we expect to have for 20 million euros." , said Đurović.
