The formation of a government in Andrijevica without the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) depends on two civil movements "For the future of our children" and Vasojević's movement Unification.
From the first, they point out that they will not participate in the government without fulfilling their conditions, and among them is that the candidate for the mayor of the municipality should not be from the ranks of the Socialist People's Party (SNP) or Democratic Montenegro, while from the second point out that they will not support the electoral list of the SNP at all. and Democrats.
On the other hand, the SNP, the Democrats, the Europe Now Movement (PES) and the coalition for the future of Andrijevica believe that it is possible to form a government without the DPS.
Last night's celebration in front of the election headquarters of the SNP after the announcement of the election results and the announcement that they will form the backbone of the government in Andrijevica, and that the current president of the municipality Željko Ćulafić will be the same in the next mandate, showed that the morning is smarter than the night.
Power without DPS depends on two civil movements. If someone counts on the mandate of the "For the Future of Our Children" movement, they will have to fulfill certain conditions.
"For one thing, we will not allow any representatives from the SNP and the Democrats to be presidents of the municipality. This current president has proven that he does not know how to work, that he is not the best at this job and therefore cannot be supported. We will have some more small requests, but it is a basic one that we will certainly not pass," said Ivan Radojević, the leader of the "For the future of our children" list.
When asked if they would form a government with the DPS, Radojevic, who is a former member of the SNP, says that they have not thought about it and will leave it to the movement's bodies to decide.
On the other hand, the leader of the list of the Vasojević movement Ujedinjenje Vesko Raketić points out that their coalition with the DPS in the Andrijevic government would only be considered in the form of minority support.
What is certain, as Raketić points out, is that this movement will not enter into a coalition with the SNP and the Democrats.
"That was the decision of the presidency of the Vasovick Unification movement, tonight we have a session regarding those issues, I think that under no circumstances should we cooperate with the president of the Municipality of Andrijevica. And I ask that he be excluded from every conversation. So he and a group of people they didn't deserve even a little bit of attention from us and the citizens in general because of their behavior, for example yesterday they threatened me on the street," said Raketić.
Raketić is a former member of the New Serbian Democracy, on whose behalf he was the vice president of the Municipality of Andrijevica, and he was dismissed on the initiative of Ćulafić, after which the crisis of the government in the previous term deepened.
According to the preliminary results of yesterday's extraordinary local elections, the electoral list of the SNP and the Democrats won eight mandates, the Europe Now Movement four, the Civic Movement "For the Future of Our Children" and the collation "For the Future of Andrijevica" three each, and the Vasojević Movement Unification one. DPS won the most - 11 mandates.
"We must be an indispensable part of the future government in Andrijevica," said Dejan Ivanović, the holder of the DPS list.
When asked how he comments on the fact that the SNP and the Democrats have already said that they do not see the DPS as a future member of the government, Ivanovic said that they also do not see them as a future part of the government.
Apart from the SNP and the Democrats, the DPS does not see the Europe Now Movement and the coalition "For the Future of Andrijevica" as a future collation partner.
"Movement Europe will now certainly be the ruling party, it will be the second party in terms of strength compared to the parties that will form the future government, said Dragana Vučević, head of the PES list.
"The coalition majority that was on August 30, 2020 will surely form the government again where we will all come to an agreement," said Lazar Asanović from the "For the Future of Andrijevica" coalition.
"I believe that it will not be difficult to form a government in Andrijevica, unless someone has some behind-the-scenes actions where he did not present it to the voters, but said something and did not mean it. I believe that there are no such things," said Vladimir Joković, president of the SNP -a.
"The majority from August 30 won 19 councilor mandates in Andrejevica tonight, compared to 11 councilor mandates of the DPS list," said the leader of Demokratra, Aleksa Bečić.
The local elections in Andrijevica were called after the government introduced forced administration due to the non-functioning of the local parliament.
