The election of Ćulafić as president of Berane municipality is uncertain

The election of Damjan Ćulafić from the Democrats to the position of President of the Municipality of Berane is uncertain because the initiative for his election does not yet have the signatures of two councilors from the ruling majority.

The session of the local parliament where the election of Ćulafić will be voted on is scheduled for next Tuesday - June 25, and Ćulafić is currently one vote short.

The opposition says that this is the culmination of political instability and that the best solution is extraordinary elections.
