The Institute for Public Health sent a recommendation to health centers not to issue certificates of stay in preschool institutions until August 15 to children who have not been fully vaccinated in accordance with their age.
The recommendation, the epidemiologist of the Institute of Public Health, Adis Martinović, said in "Morning Colors" on TV News, was issued at the initiative of preschool institutions from Podgorica because, as he explained, the certificates did not provide precise information about the child's health, not only in terms of received vaccines.
"It was not the goal to remove anyone or prohibit them from leaving, all children, of course, who are capable will receive that certificate, but I say, in addition, as a note or recommendation in those certificates for those children who have not been vaccinated or from any for which reason, the current advice is that these children, due to the current epidemiological situation, are not recommended to stay in preschool conditions, mainly because of their health, because of the risk of contracting measles, but, I say, it will not be in the form of a ban bans," said Martinović.
