Kotor Municipality President Vladimir Jokić, who previously announced that he will lead the list of Democrats in the local elections on September 29, said that the party has not yet made a decision on whether it will run independently in those elections.
He said in "Colors of the morning" on TV Vijesti that the decision on the way to go to the elections in the coming days will be made by the Kotor committee of the Democrats, saying that it will not be guided by party or "any other" interests, but by the interests of the city.
"More modalities are on the table, I wouldn't talk about it before we get a formal decision... Democracy reigns within our board, every decision we make is made as a group. I will leave that type of conversation for our municipal board," said Jokić. .
When asked with whom he would form the government, he says that these are "things that are absolutely known".
"We took the position that our natural partners are those with whom, especially in the previous two years, we worked on the political stability and development of Kotor. Also, the parties that are the state government today are our natural partners. Here we come to some specifics that we had some passing in the city in the past years... I am convinced that the list that I will lead, together with one or two partners, will form the government in Kotor in a record short period of time," said Jokić.
