Due to the works at the school in Elementary School "Drago Milović" for students from the third to the ninth grade and the regional unit of Donja Lastva, classes will be organized online.
This way of teaching will last until September 15.
This is what the director of the mentioned educational institution, Slavka Mirković, said in "Morning Colors".
"There was no break, work is underway on the adaptation and reconstruction of the roof in accordance with the Memorandum of Cooperation signed by the competent Ministry and the Municipality of Tivat. 90 percent of the work has been completed, however, based on the dynamic plan that we received from the contractor, it is not possible to organize teaching process in the building of the central school itself, so we had to adapt to the new model, but we are ready to welcome the beginning of the new school year," said Mirković.
The deadline for completing the work is October 8, but the director hopes that the students will return to school by September 15.
On this occasion, Mirković pointed out that, for now, due to the number of students and the lack of space, they cannot organize an extended stay. They hope that with the support of the Municipality of Tivat, they will soon be able to find a temporary solution.
Classes at Elementary School "Drago Milović" take place in three shifts, in the morning shift attended by first, fifth, seventh, eighth and ninth grade students, in the middle shift attended by second grade students, and in the afternoon shift for third, fourth, and sixth grade students.
