The construction inspection and the police visited today Lamela C in the Zabjelo neighborhood of Podgorica, after the workers started erecting scaffolding on the building during the weekend, in order to finish the works, despite the construction ban that has been in force since February of this year.
A report was made on the ground, and the owners of the apartments in the disputed lamella, who in the meantime came in front of the building, claim that the scaffolding is theirs, and that they themselves hired workers to install the facade.
A report will be filed due to the breaking of the official seal, and the competent prosecutor has been informed of the incident. Dand the works are also taking place inside the apartments, as witnessed by neighbors from neighboring buildings and videos recorded by Television News yesterday.
The workers were found by the Vijesti Television team in the middle of work today, and in the meantime, the construction inspection and the police came to the field according to, as was said, the report filed today.
Television Vijesti this morning asked the Ministry of Spatial Planning, among other things, whether they were informed about the installation of scaffolding on Lamela C, and whether they had a permit for it. The department now headed by Slaven Radunović received the following response a few hours later, when the competent services were investigating:
"Given that acting inspectors are currently in the field, we are not able to provide an interlocutor, nor to give a written answer to the questions asked. In connection with the above, we expect to deliver the requested information and answers tomorrow."
Not long after the inspection and the police, several apartment owners in the illegal building appeared in front of Lamela C. They did not want to be in front of the Vijesti Television cameras, and they told the police that the scaffolding was theirs, and that the Tenants' Assembly hired workers on their own initiative to put up the facade. According to the police, a complaint has been filed against them for violating the official seal, which will be reported by the competent prosecutor.
The official seal was already removed from the building in February, a month after the demolition of Lamela C was started and then stopped by order of the then Minister of Urbanism, Janko Odović. regarding whether the demolition procedure is legal, while the investor "PS gradnja" is still trying to legalize the disputed lamella, for which the Capital is responsible. In the meantime, today, for the third time, the official stamp was again placed on Lamela C.
