Garbage piling up on the street, because someone removed the containers, is a problem for the residents of, for our purposes, the most expensive and most desirable neighborhood in Podgorica - the City neighborhood.
In order to get rid of the garbage, the protest organizers suggest:
"If the land owned by the companies Zetagradnja and Čelebić be transferred to the Assembly of Apartment Owners, if the Capital participates in it, because the Capital, as far as we know, has some disputes with those companies due to some outstanding obligations, I would not get into that, if transfer the land to the tenants of the buildings, so that they can determine the spaces for the containers, because it is obvious that this is not the wish of the investors or the capital city", said the organizer of the protest Željko Laković.
Investors built apartments, sold them and left, and the problems remained...
And that's why the locals are asking for an urgent reaction from the authorities...
And while the residents of 12 buildings in a small area are waiting for new containers, Čistoća appealed to citizens to dispose of garbage properly, even in a remote container, while the tenants pointed out that the municipal inspection is also to blame for this problem, which ignores their appeals for half a year.
Due to the lack of public areas, too narrow streets and improperly parked cars, Čistoca did not feel comfortable placing containers anywhere, because in an already overcrowded neighborhood, arriving by truck would be almost impossible...
