This agreement was recently confirmed at a meeting of the Education Union with the Minister of Education, Science and Innovation Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, noting that it is a one-time payment, and that from October salaries will also be increased by 17 percent, but according to the Europe Now 2 program.
After fighting for an increase in wages, educators are also demanding payment of compensation for the hours they worked beyond the norm during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic.
