That in the cumbersome state administration we do not have enough staff to complete some jobs, the best evidence is that, with the budget rebalancing, which the deputies adopted two weeks ago, the costs for consulting services jumped by almost two million euros, to a total of over 34 million for this year.
Economic analyst Oleg Filipović believes that this is irrational and that the solution should be either a radical cut in the administration or to hire her once and reduce services from the side.
"Completely irrational and completely unnecessary. There are almost 60, 70 thousand people employed in the state administration. The biggest profile of these people are economists, lawyers and so on, and in addition to that large number of economists and lawyers, we still go for outsourcing or consulting services. is the basic question of why it is so and what kind of staff we employ," said Filipović.
This question remains unanswered by the authorities this time, because the Ministry of Finance did not send it to Television News even after more than a week.
While they are increasing the numbers, Filipović points out that the budget must be relieved of some burden.
"To radically reduce the administration, so let's say that in our administration we don't have the knowledge and professionalism and then we use outsourcing, but that means reducing expenses based on salaries and everything within the administration or simply that if we already have such a cumbersome administration, we start using it, then that outsourcing service has to go down, to be reduced until it is completely eradicated".
The fact that bad practices are still difficult to eradicate in our country is evidenced by the fact that costs for work contracts are increasing, so with the rebalancing, which was adopted, in the midst of the campaign for local elections, they exceeded 21 million.
And official trips exceeded six million, which means that the costs are 200 thousand more than the budget.
The interlocutor of Television Vijesti says that all of this would not be disputed if the benefits that the citizens would receive would justify these costs.
"They have to travel, it's no problem, but they have to, in my opinion, make a result that time," said Filipović.
In that case, one would say - they didn't miss times. And, given that the expenses are increasing from year to year, there will certainly be no shortage of money or time.
