From now on, it will be easier and more accessible for everyone who uses public transport services, thanks to updated data on the Google maps service.
The capital announced that the updated data refer to 25 lines, over 670 stops and 2.100 departures.
The updated data of Podgorica's public transport on the Google maps application allows passengers to be informed in real time about the timetable, routes and bus stops.
"Citizens can use and navigate public city transport through this application, it seems much simpler to me than when you have to use some other types of information sources," said Nikola Mićunović, head of the Capital City Information System Service.
"We have updated the data on the popular Google maps application, considering that in the previous period there were certain changes, both in the introduction of new lines, and also that our city company 'Roads' took over certain lines which, in the previous period, were managed by some other companies," Mićunović said.
The data refer to 25 lines, more than 670 stops and 2.100 departures. Although many are still ignorant of newspapers, citizens believe that this way they will find their way around the city transport better.
In addition to the data that shows when the bus will arrive, Mićunović also announces the connection with GPS devices that will indicate to passengers how late the bus will be in relation to traffic jams.
