At least ten employees of the Port of Adria company in Bar have lead poisoning, which they suspect occurred during the performance of work tasks, TV News has learned.
They did the analyzes in a private laboratory in Bar, where it was found that the lead content in the blood was higher than allowed.
It is suspected that they were exposed to heavy metals for a long period of time without adequate protection.
As far as the poisoning is concerned, TV Vijesti has sent questions to the Institute of Public Health, but they have not yet answered whether they are aware of the situation in Bar and what they have done.
TV Vijesti is also waiting for an answer from the Port of Adria company.
Lead is extremely dangerous and causes damage to numerous vital organs.
Port of Adria is a privatized part of the Port of Bar whose majority owner is the Turkish company Global ports holding since 2013.
