Two police patrols guarded the "Marko Miljanov" Elementary School in Bijelo Polje to prevent potential peer violence, TV Vijesti has learned.
According to information from TV Vijesti, an eighth-grade student sold a game to high school students from an electro-economics school and they did not want to pay him, which is why the elementary school student insulted them on social networks, so three or four high school students threatened to stab him, after which he ran away to the school, which was later secured by the police.
The Ministry of Education announced to TV Vijesti that upon receiving information about the events in Bijelo Polje, they took measures.
The administration of the school whose student was a potential victim of peer violence, they say, reacted immediately, informing the police and the Center for Social Work, which enabled this situation to be resolved before it could escalate.
