Kolašinci will pay more expensive water from January, the director of the Waterworks in that municipality, Miloš Peković, confirmed for Boje jutra TV Vijesti.
He pointed out that the bill for a family of two will be ten euros, a family of three will be 15 euros, while for a family of four it will be 20 euros for those users who are billed as a flat rate.
He said that they will be offered the possibility of installing a water meter.
"From January 1, 2025, citizens will pay 83 cents per cubic meter, while the fixed part on user accounts will amount to two euros. Several factors influenced the price increase. One of the most significant is the adoption and application of the Branch Collective Agreement, which is specifically in increased our company's earnings by over 70 percent. Also, European practice and legal regulations equalizing the price of water for individuals and legal entities and certainly increasing the prices of plumbing materials." stated Peković.
