Discussions in the Nikšić parliament are often humorous: Rajko Perović manages to make everyone laugh with his presentation

Unlike the state parliament, where sharp verbal and narrowly avoided physical conflicts occur every now and then, the discussions in the Nikšić assembly, although loud, are often humorous.

In recent months, the Nikšić parliament has become popular in our country and in the region, as videos of the member of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Rajko Perović, who makes everyone laugh with his speech from the lectern, are spreading on social networks. Even colleagues from the government, who do not share his views.

"Do you people know that they call us Željezara a shame, Metalac a misery, Voja Deretića Street a black face, Široka Street a shame, they call the municipality a first kiss, an entrance exam for EPCG, and EPCG a love nest," said Perović in the local parliament.

"Are you baptized? And then it's not a cross for you people. The only thing you did was arrest the lighting. Imprison and arrest. You didn't arrest anyone without lighting. They completely arrested, darkened, put censorship on it," he said. Perovic.

And it was the decision to abolish censorship, i.e. the live broadcast of the sessions of the Nikšić SO, which was introduced by the new Nikšić government, that brought the popular Raj closer to the public. This politically, especially pleases his DPS.

"First of all, I must say that this is an exceptional man, who in the previous period managed to win some much more important battles than these political ones, those are the ones of life, and that after all that he has so much energy, so much knowledge and so much professionalism that deals with the problems of the city of Nikšić", said the president of the Municipal Committee of the Democratic Party of Socialists (DPS) Nikšić Boris Muratović.

"We started broadcasting the sessions live, therefore we have those humorous discussions of colleague Perović that made us all laugh, it seems to me in Montenegro and beyond. The work of the Assembly today is incomparably more transparent than it was," said the President of the Nikšić Municipal Assembly Nemanja Vuković (Democrat).

Although he does not agree with Perović's views and criticisms of the work of the local government, Vuković points out that his presentations often cheer up the councilors, especially when the sessions last for several hours.

And the citizens will decide who will win in the spring, when regular local elections await in Nikšić.
