Through the amendments to the Spatial Urban Plan for Nikšić, more precise guidelines were defined for the construction of commercial buildings, individual residential buildings and multi-family housing, Mladen Vujović, the chief city architect in Nikšić, told Boje jutra TV Vijesti.
"12 urban planning and technical conditions for multi-family housing facilities have been determined. So, for example, under the meteorological station, that is one larger location, it is planned to build five multi-family housing facilities with higher floors. In Rastoci, across the street from the gas station, where in the following there is already one part of multi-family housing with larger floors, it is planned to continue the construction of another part of the buildings. Also, a larger number of collective housing is planned." stated Vujović.
He also pointed out that tenders for several projects important for the development of Nikšić have either been completed or are in progress.
"The first one I would mention, for which I think the tender has been completed, is the construction of a kindergarten, according to all modern standards, in a settlement called Rudo Polje. It is a large settlement where, in the meantime, maybe seven or eight years ago, several residential of larger buildings and the problem of the lack of a kindergarten has appeared. It is the first building for that purpose in Nikšić. It is very interesting that Nikšić is to be built launched an action and it is certain that the center for autism will be built in the suburb of Ozrinići on a large part. The land is, as far as I know, owned by the Municipality of Nikšić it is a very good location for children, for people with autism, where there will be a lot of green areas, a quiet location, it is a large area. If that happens, Montenegro and Nikšić will get a lot, and the citizens will solve the problem," he said is Vujović.
Otherwise, since the beginning of the year, about 500 requests from citizens have arrived at the address of the Municipality, while so far consent has been issued for 270 conceptual solutions, mostly for the construction of houses in suburban settlements, agritourism, auxiliary facilities and business services.
