The head of the Pokreta Evropa Sad (PES) parliamentary group, Vasilije Čarapić, said that the European Commission gave a positive opinion on the PES amendment to the Law on the National Public Broadcaster, related to the reduction of the number of years of work experience required for the general director of the Public Service.
He said this in an interview broadcast on the Načisto show on Television News, and the author and editor of the show, Petar Komenić, then said that Čarapić's statement was a lie, and that PES had "slandered" the election of Boris Raonic to the position of general director of RTCG.
Komnenić quoted the answer of the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro to the questions of Televizija Vijesti, in which it is stated that "when it comes to the conditions for the selection of the management of public broadcasters, it is a matter of national competence, not EU competence".
In response to Komnenić's assertion that he is deceiving the public, Čarapić said that it was not a matter of deception.
"Just because it is not their competence, it is up to the state to determine its conditions, and the expert of the Council of Europe recommended for Montenegro, taking into account the context and education system in Montenegro, that it should be milder and not stricter conditions," said Čarapić. .
He could not appoint an expert from the Council of Europe, and claims that they have provided the possibility for more people to apply for the competition.

Čarapić claims that the document sent from the Cabinet of Prime Minister Milojko Spajić, related to the amendments to the Law on the National Public Broadcaster, and on which a template with the sign of the Radio Television of Montenegro (RTCG) can be seen, is fabricated.
He said this in an interview broadcast on the show "Nachisto" on Television Vijesti.
"What you showed me is a fabricated document, what you showed me is a lie," Čarapić said.
When asked by the editor and author of the show Petr Komnenić who fabricated the document, Čarapić said that he did not know.
In response to Komnenić's statement that the Director General of the Directorate for Media in the Ministry of Culture and Media, Neđeljko Rudović, said that he had evidence that the disputed document came from the Prime Minister's office, Čarapić said that Rudović "almost endangered" the IBAR laws with his actions.
