Four months after the elections, the final results of which have not yet been announced, Kotor is still without a formed government, while the Constitutional Court's decision on the DPS appeal is still awaited.
The former mayor of this municipality and the leader of the Democratic Party list in the September elections, Vladimir Jokić, pointed out in "Colors of Morning" three possible solutions to the crisis - withdrawing the DPS appeal, electing a new Constitutional Court judge, or activating the old assembly.
Jokić warns of serious consequences if the crisis persists, including delayed wages and the loss of significant European funds for projects.
"This can be resolved today. So, if the Democratic Party of Socialists withdraws the appeal today, it is resolved today. If we have a situation again in which the DPS blocks the work of the state parliament, that is, where a judge of the Constitutional Court should be elected, then this is obviously a political decision by that political structure to create a crisis at the state level and to make an end to that crisis in local self-governments. What are the consequences? The consequences are... far-reaching, serious and in some parts they may even be dramatic, if this situation persists," the leader of the Democratic list emphasized.
