The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption has initiated a procedure to determine the conflict of interest of public official Nikola Tripković, who simultaneously holds two positions - he is the president of the Board of Directors of the state-owned company "13. jul - Plantaže" and the Board of Directors of the Development Bank.
ASK confirmed to Television Vijesti that the procedure against Tripković was initiated upon the report and is in the implementation phase.
The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption recently determined that Aleksandra Jovanović violated the Law on the Prevention of Corruption, because she simultaneously held two public positions - she was a member of the board of directors of the state-owned enterprise "Biznismontenegro" and the health institution of the Pharmacy of Montenegro "Montefarm".
There have been more such cases in the past, that is, the ASK has repeatedly determined that a public official cannot perform two or more public functions, or cannot be a member of the management bodies of two or more companies in majority state ownership.
