The new facility of the Podgorica elementary school "Vladimir Nazor" will be officially opened on April 14, said State Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation Dragan Marković, a guest on "Colors of Morning" on Television Vijesti.
Marković explained that there were technical and administrative obstacles during the work, and the problem of connecting the school to the electrical installations was particularly challenging.
"We had to wait for the decision of the Capital City Assembly, which was only made at the end of February. The school itself is finished, and the complete inventory for the school and gym arrived yesterday," said Marković, adding that the situation is now under control.
He also spoke about the new rules in schools, noting that the ban on the use of mobile phones applies not only to classes, but also to school breaks and the entire school premises.
"The ban on the use of mobile phones is aimed at creating a safer and more focused environment for students, and students who violate this rule may be subject to disciplinary measures," said Marković.
