Danilovgrad could soon get its first city park in the Landža area if the idea of an informal group of citizens is accepted, said Darko Zarubica, a representative of the group and president of the Danilovgrad I Local Community, while appearing on Boje jutra.
"A space that is literally located about 150 meters, 200 meters from the city center, schools, health center, and it would be very nice to use it. That space is 14 hectares, or 140 thousand square meters, which is not small, which is chained, so to speak, by the Zeta River, because it is a meander and in the shape of a horseshoe, and a beautiful place that can be used and be, as you mentioned, an oasis, and a place that is also valorized for tourism, and primarily for the enjoyment of us citizens of Danilovgrad, and all visitors who come there. What is interesting is that at that presentation of the draft, it could be seen that that park could look like a dragonfly, which is a protected species," he said.
The final draft of the project will be presented on Friday.
"I can't tell you everything specifically, not because I don't want to, but I'm waiting and I don't know because I deliberately didn't want to know, I wanted to be surprised, but I can tell you that it will certainly consist of certain walking zones, that it will consist of cycling zones. As far as I could see, there should be one zone in that project, the first phase that would have some children's playgrounds, maybe a cafe in the sense, near that children's playground. What is interesting is that the plan is to set up some kind of stage there, or rather, to have a prefabricated stage because one part of that Landža is also blue and blue and then it could be moved for that reason, it would be good if there was a concept zone there where a large concept could be created and there was also a part where there could be a fishing ground. This means that fishing competitions could even be organized in that area," Zarubica pointed out.
