A referendum for affordable housing and protection of key state-owned enterprises in majority ownership in Montenegro. These are the goals of the campaign being implemented by the Union of Free Trade Unions, on the occasion of which they organized a debate in the Capital City Assembly.
Their proposal for a referendum needs to be signed by almost 55 citizens who have the right to vote in order for it to be put through the parliamentary procedure. The first issue concerns the construction of state-owned apartments, which citizens could rent at prices lower than market prices. They cite the model that exists in Austria as a positive example.
Under the slogan "Not everything is for sale," the Union of Free Trade Unions presents the second resolution, which refers to the request that the state remain the majority owner in companies of national importance.
