Ahead of the local elections in Nikšić and Herceg-Novi, GP URA MP Filip Adžić, appearing on TV Vijesti's Boje jutra, said that his party will not form coalitions with either DPS or Marko Kovačević in advance, unless they accept their basic program principles.
Adžić said that the local elections have so far taken place in a peaceful and democratic atmosphere, which he considers a success.
"The campaign focused on local issues, which is the point of local elections. That's what we fought for - that state issues be resolved at the state level, and local issues at the local level," he said.
Speaking about the current scandals regarding voter lists and possible abuses by voters from Serbia and Republika Srpska, Adžić assessed that this is an old practice and a lack of political will to reform the voter list:
"There is an electoral reform committee, but there is no real will to implement it."
Commenting on the government's agreement with the United Arab Emirates, Adžić warned of lack of transparency and the potential sale of key resources, especially when it comes to the Velika Plaza in Ulcinj.
"The citizens of Ulcinj are not against investments, but against non-transparency and arbitrariness. No one from the Government has the right to sell off what belongs to the local population and all of Montenegro," said Adžić.
