Deputy Prime Minister Nik Đeljošaj repeatedly defamed Television Vijesti journalist Danilo Ajković in 2022, the Basic Court in Podgorica ruled.
According to the first-instance verdict, Đeljošaj should pay Ajković 1.800 euros, because he hurt his honor and reputation with his statements.
Ajković says that the court determined that this was a classic smear of him as a journalist and that this verdict is an important contribution to the fight for the dignity of the journalistic profession.
