The chiefs of the Kolašin and Žabljak police, Zoran Braunović and Momčilo Vojinović, have been removed from their positions, Televizija Vijesti has learned unofficially.
The reasons for the dismissal should be announced soon by the Police Directorate in an official statement.
Braunović recently came into the public spotlight when he submitted a request to testify before the Parliament's Inquiry Committee on cases of political murders and attacks on journalists and intellectuals, and the activities of a beating squad known as the "black three".
Earlier today, Danilovgrad Police Chief Marko Drobnjak was arrested in an operation by the Special Police Department on the orders of the Special Prosecutor's Office, on suspicion of creating a criminal organization and abuse of official position.
