A red weather alert is in effect in Montenegro. The temperature in some areas has exceeded 40 degrees, and this situation will continue tomorrow. On Saturday evening, however, a sudden change in temperature is expected, meteorologist Daliborka Gojković Bajčeta announced.
Although the heat is intense, the Emergency Medical Service, at least for now, is not recording a number of interventions higher than average for this time of year.
The situation, however, is different for Podgorica firefighters, who have had to respond to at least 300 fires, of smaller or larger scale, this month alone.
