Never-before-seen allocations: 717 million euros will be spent on public sector salaries this year

The state administration in Montenegro has never been larger, and salary expenditures are increasing. This year alone, more than 700 million euros will be spent on salaries in the public sector.

According to data collected by Television Vijesti from 15 ministries, some departments have hundreds of employees, while others are at the top in terms of hiring people through temporary contracts.

The highest salaries are in the Ministry of Defense and the portfolio of Minister Slaven Radunović, while the highest average salary is in the Ministry of Diaspora.
