Citizens of the Bijelo Polje villages of Srđevac, Lozna and Poda protested today in front of the Administrative Court in Podgorica.
They claim that the planned construction of a quarry has endangered their forests, water and property, and therefore their survival in the area. They blame the institutions for their silence and lack of promptness, as their lawsuit has been unresolved for a year.
The protest in front of the Administrative Court, they say, is just a warning. If the process is not expedited, they announce larger gatherings and more radical measures, until, as they claim, their lives and property are protected.
