Parents of children with autism and developmental disabilities will protest today at 18 p.m. in front of the Government of Montenegro because of, as they say, unfulfilled promises and insufficient support in healthcare, education and social protection.
The NGO "You Are Not Alone" invited all citizens, non-governmental organizations, and experts in the fields of education, health, and psychology to join them, emphasizing that they are not seeking pity, but the establishment of a functional support system.
"The right to medical treatment, education, work and life are not special, but basic human rights," the organizers said, adding that the ultimate goal of the protest is a more just and humane Montenegro.
