The highest-paid public official in our country, according to the latest available data from the Anti-Corruption Agency website, is the Vice Governor of the Central Bank, Nikola Fabris, who receives 7.029 euros per month.
Central Bank Governor Irena Radović receives a basic monthly salary of 6.450 euros. Radović also receives a monthly allowance for her work at the Financial Stability Council, which last year ranged from 700 to 1.420 euros, meaning that she received a total of 7.870 euros in one month.
The Second Vice Governor of the Central Bank, Zorica Kalezić, with a base salary that reached 6.290 euros at one point last year, ranks third among the highest salaries.
The Director of the Civil Aviation Agency, Ivan Šćekić, received over 5.500 euros in the last month of last year, including the variable, and is in fourth place.
In fifth place is the director of Razvojna Banka Nikola Tripković with 4.887 euros, who is also the president of the Board of Directors of "Plantaž", which is why the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption launched a procedure this year to determine whether Tripković is in a conflict of interest because he simultaneously holds two public positions.
The salary of the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elektroprivreda, Milutin Đukanović, during his years managing the energy company has increased to 4.839 euros, although there was recent speculation on social media that he received over 6.000 euros in July of this year.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of CEDIS, Vladimir Čađenović, receives 4.675 euros, but he is in seventh place because the director of ToMontenegro, Vukadin Stojanović, is in the position above him, with a salary of 10 euros higher.
Behind Čađenović is another Čađenović – Igor, who heads "Plantaž" and receives 4.275 euros. The top 10 is closed by the President of the Supreme Court, Valentina Pavličić, who in the last month of last year received over 4.000 euros in basic salary and salary contributions for membership in the Judicial Council.
The salary of Supreme State Prosecutor Milorad Marković varied greatly over the past year, but after ups and downs, in December he received 4.144 euros, a euro more than the basic salary of the director of the Airport of Montenegro, Roko Tolić. Marković also receives almost 1.200 euros each month as president of the Prosecutorial Council.
The director of the Electric Power Company, Ivan Bulatović, closes the list of those who receive over 4.000 euros. Next are the chairman of the board of CGES, Aleksandar Mijušković, the director of Budvanska Riviera, Jovan Gregović, the representative of Montenegro before the court in Strasbourg, Katarina Peković, as the only government official on this list, and then two Vladimirs – the director of CEDIS, Ivanović, and the chief special prosecutor, Novović.
The top 20 highest paid are closed by the General Director of Radio and Television of Montenegro Boris Raonić and the Director of the Coal Mine Nemanja Laković, with salaries of over 3.500 euros.
The 20 public officials with the highest salaries receive a total of around 90.400 euros.
