September pensions, which will be paid on October 20th, will be 1,98 percent higher, TV Vijesti has learned.
The September adjustment, the third in a row this year, applies to pensioners who receive above the minimum of 450 euros, as they are frozen until the end of the year.
This means that the increase of almost two percent applies to around 40.000 pensioners, and those with an average pension of 535 euros will receive an increase of 10,60 euros.
Pensions have been adjusted twice this year, the last time being in May, when they were increased by 3,1 percent.
Although there is a certain increase in September pensions by 1,98 percent, confirmation from the Board of Directors of the Pension and Disability Insurance Fund is awaited for it to be official.
