Arrested in an operation by the Special State Prosecutor's Office and the Special Police Department, businessman Aleksandar Mijajlović, senior state prosecutor Andrijana Nastic, former senior police officials Milovan Pavićević and Drago Spičanović, and police officer Vladan Lazović, were questioned this morning at the Special Prosecutor's Office and ordered to be detained for up to 72 hours, Televizija Vijesti has learned.
According to information from TV Vijesti, they will most likely be heard tomorrow in the Higher Court, which will make a decision on whether to order detention for up to 30 days.
It is still unknown what exactly the SDT is charging them with because the authorities have not commented.
The Vijesti portal previously reported that the arrested are charged with creating a criminal organization, and Pavićević with abuse of office.
As Televizija Vijesti unofficially learns, new arrests are possible.
Mijajlović was arrested previously but was released from custody after bail was accepted.
