The draft of the new Law on the Prevention of Corruption is still awaiting the opinion of the European Commission. It was sent to Brussels in June and is intended to introduce stricter control over the assets of public officials and strengthen the powers of the Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.
One of the novelties is that members of tender and public procurement and concession commissions will also have to declare their assets if they decide on deals worth over 100 thousand euros.
