Today, on International Rural Women's Day, we take a look into the everyday life of Ljulja Ljucović, a housewife from Kučki korita. Her mornings begin with the smell of freshly baked bread and taking care of the farm animals, and behind these work tasks lies an invisible force that holds the home and family together. In her story, we discover the true power of a rural woman - a tireless dedication that preserves tradition and shows that hard work pays off.
Difficult, but fulfilling, is how Ljulja Ljucović describes life on Kučki korti....
There is a lot of work, there is fatigue, but also the feeling that everything she does makes sense. She says she wouldn't change a thing.
Although she didn't like it at first, today Ljulja proudly makes young cheese. She has plenty of local milk, and she says that it is from it that she lives, feeds her family, and preserves her traditions.
And between the radishes and potatoes, Ljulja finds her peace. The garden, she says, is her favorite chore.
Behind every household in the countryside are hardworking and tireless hands. This is what the host Zef Ljucović knows best.
Although aware that young girls often run away from this way of life, Ljulja says to return to their roots, because as life progresses, the most important thing is for the family to preserve the warmth of home - and that is exactly what the village provides.
