The director of the Action for Social Justice, Ines Mrdović, assessed in "Colors of Morning" on TV Vijesti that the dismissal of the executive director of the Electric Power Company of Montenegro, Ivan Bulatović, is a sign of deeper problems within the company, and that the public must be informed of the reasons for such a decision.
Mrdović pointed out that the situation is particularly sensitive because the shift occurred just a few days before the planned commissioning of the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant.
"Why is this important? Because everything is happening about ten days before the Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant is switched on, which is of enormous importance for consumers and can also affect the price of electricity. Citizens have the right to know whether the Thermal Power Plant will actually be put into operation on November 15th or whether there will be a delay," said Mrdović.
She reminded that EPCG has been in a complex financial situation for a long time.
"It seems that it may have been easier for the victim to be the executive director, rather than the board of directors. The question is whether the decision to dismiss is related to the Thermal Power Plant or to some other investment project in which there may be disagreements within the management," she said.
