The Higher Court in Podgorica has lifted the house arrest of suspended prosecutor Saša Čađenović, the independent public relations advisor of the Higher Court, Ivana Vukmirović, confirmed to Television Vijesti.
As announced, the only measure that remains in effect is the confiscation of passports.
The Special State Prosecutor's Office suspects him of being a member of a criminal organization that, according to the indictment, was formed by former senior police official Zoran Lazović.
In addition to them, the indictment also includes former Chief Special Prosecutor Milivoje Katnić.
They are accused of collaborating with a criminal organization organized by the fugitive leader of the Kavač clan, Radoje Zvicer. In the proceedings before the Podgorica High Court so far, the defendants have denied all allegations in the indictment, which was filed against them by special prosecutor Miloš Šoškić.
