Montenegro still does not have a Cybersecurity Agency, an institution that should be the first line of defense against increasingly frequent cyber attacks on state information systems.
While European countries are strengthening their capacities in this area, in Montenegro, the establishment of the Agency is apparently being postponed for political reasons.
Minister of Public Administration Maraš Dukaj has been proposing Samir Orahovac as acting director of the Agency for months, but the Government has persistently not put this appointment on the agenda.
