The Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) generated a profit of more than three million euros in the first nine months of 2025, which is 6,4 million more than in the same period last year, the company's director Vladimir Ivanović announced in "Boje jutra".

The biggest contribution to positive business performance came from revenue from network fees and the reduction of network losses, which were almost halved this year. The company says that the electricity distribution system is ready for the winter season, and that teams will be on duty 24 hours a day to quickly repair any malfunctions.

During the summer, around 250 poles damaged in fires were repaired, and investments are underway in the construction and modernization of substations in several Montenegrin municipalities.

There are currently more than 4.000 illegal connections in circulation, mostly in Žabljak, Ulcinj and parts of Podgorica, which, they say, continues to make it difficult to maintain power supply stability and slow down planned investments.

The company's total investments since the beginning of the year have exceeded 22 million euros, and are expected to exceed 30 million by the end of 2025.
